An Introduction.
Hi. My name is Raul Castellanos Jr, and I am a person of many interests. Many have come and gone over the years, but three have turned out to be perennial as I grow older:
Technology, design, and travel.
With this blog, I hope to show you how the three intersect in my mind and heart.
Why a blog?
Because I need an expressive outlet for my meandering brain, and writing has always been my favorite outlet. It’s my bread and butter, and since I am taking an indefinite hiatus from creative writing — documenting my general geekery will have to do for now.
Why not YouTube?
I love YouTube, but here’s the thing: making videos and managing a channel is a ton of work. A YouTube channel is a never-ending project in and of itself. ALL SORTS OF THINGS, OLD SPORT! I’ve got a few vintage electronics restorations lined up, and then we’ll see what we get up to after that!
